The event aims to become Vietnam\u2019s largest online shopping festival, offering a wide range of e-commerce experiences and digital technology applications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"975\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The core objectives of the program are to stimulate domestic consumption, raise public awareness about e-commerce, promote digital infrastructure development, and support businesses in building a sustainable e-commerce market. During the week, Online Friday will feature exclusive promotions and incentives on products and services from leading manufacturers and distributors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1323\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The program places a strong emphasis on helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) accelerate digital transformation, enhance their technological capabilities in online business, promote local products in digital marketplaces, and stay updated with emerging trends, policies, and regulations in the e-commerce sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1712\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">In addition, activities will focus on promoting and selling genuine products, prioritizing those made in Vietnam, while strengthening measures to prevent counterfeit goods and protect online consumers\u2019 rights. Local products will receive support to expand cross-border e-commerce exports, improve competitiveness, and boost Vietnam\u2019s online export revenues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1714\" data-end=\"2131\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">According to statistics, Vietnam\u2019s e-commerce market reached a scale of over USD 25 billion in 2024, growing by 20% year-on-year, accounting for around 10% of total retail and consumer service revenue nationwide, and ranking third in Southeast Asia, after Indonesia (USD 65 billion) and Thailand (USD 26 billion). The market is expected to reach approximately USD 63 billion by 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2133\" data-end=\"2331\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">E-commerce has become one of the pioneering sectors of Vietnam\u2019s digital economy, acting as a key driver of economic growth and a catalyst for digital transformation among enterprises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2333\" data-end=\"2576\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">According to the Vietnam E-Commerce White Paper, retail e-commerce revenue was USD 13.7 billion in 2021 (up 16%), USD 16.4 billion in 2022 (up 20%), USD 20.5 billion in 2023 (up 25%), and surpassed USD 25 billion in 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2578\" data-end=\"2772\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Based on an e-commerce growth rate of 25\u201327% in the first eight months of 2025, the MOIT has revised its annual growth target upward to 25.5%, instead of the previously planned 20\u201322%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2774\" data-end=\"2986\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Specifically, the e-commerce growth rate in 2025 is projected to reach 25.5%, with B2C transaction value estimated at around USD 28 billion, and the country aims to reach USD 50 billion by 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2988\" data-end=\"3198\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">This remarkable growth is largely driven by major e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Lazada, fueled by the rising trend of video-based shopping experiences among Vietnamese consumers.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has officially issued Decision No. 3144\/Q\u0110-BCT on the organization of the \u201cNational E-Commerce Week and Vietnam Online Shopping Day \u2013 Online Friday 2025.\u201d Accordingly, the National E-Commerce Week and Online Friday 2025 will be held from November 13 to 17, 2025, nationwide.
