Binh Duong Expands Product Distribution via E-commerce Platforms
To expand markets and enhance competitiveness, Binh Duong Province is actively supporting businesses, cooperatives, and households in distributing goods through e-commerce platforms.
According to Ms. Phan Thi Khanh Duyen, Deputy Director of the Binh Duong Department of Industry and Trade, the department has recently helped many enterprises bring their products onto major e-commerce platforms such as Voso, Postmart, Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, and Alibaba. The department has also organized conferences and workshops to connect stakeholders, provide guidance on setting up online storefronts, and promote agricultural products, handicrafts, and OCOP products (One Commune, One Product). In addition, it has collaborated with relevant agencies to implement trade promotion programs, online fairs, exhibitions, and networking events, allowing businesses to engage more deeply in the digital economy.
Several businesses have taken advantage of these opportunities, including Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Director of Ngoc Son Crocodile and Python JSC, shared that listing products on e-commerce platforms has helped increase sales and establish strategic partnerships. Similarly, the Tan My Fruit Cooperative has received support in launching online storefronts and training sessions on digital transactions.

Billionaire Farmers Association of Binh Duong Province has also hosted livestream sales events, where members present product prices, cultivation processes, preservation methods, and traceability information. According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Quyet, Vice Chairman of the association, this approach helps products reach consumers faster, improves visibility, and boosts sales potential.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tieng, Director of Dan Tien Cooperative (Bac Tan Uyen District), reported that after just one livestream held in early March, the cooperative sold nearly 2.5 tons of pomelo. They also partnered with Viettel Post to deliver products nationwide. The cooperative aims to further expand into export markets via digital platforms soon.
Experts affirm that e-commerce not only enables effective product promotion but also provides a sustainable sales channel in the digital transformation especially for regional specialties and OCOP products.
