BECAMEX GROUP & BEXCO JOIN HANDS TO PROMOTE MICE INDUSTRY AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE
On September 26, 2025, Becamex Group officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO, Korea).
With a vision to build a comprehensive trade and services ecosystem, Becamex — through the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) — has become a key connector to many global partners. This collaboration with BEXCO, one of Asia’s leading exhibition and convention centers, is expected to bring large-scale international exhibitions to the regions invested by Becamex.
In the context of the newly established Greater Ho Chi Minh City formed from the merger of Binh Duong, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, and Ho Chi Minh City, the region is emerging as a hub for industry, seaports, services, and international finance. This creates a solid foundation for Becamex to further expand its global cooperation.
On the Korean side, BEXCO operates under the administration of Busan City and plays a key role in developing the system of international exhibitions and conventions in the southern region. The cooperation with Becamex not only strengthens bilateral relations but also opens up opportunities for new investment, particularly in industry, trade, and MICE.
As part of the program, the BEXCO delegation visited Eastern International University (EIU) and the Advanced Manufacturing Center, gaining an overview of the education, industry, and innovation ecosystem being developed by Becamex.
Becamex representatives affirmed that this cooperation is an important milestone, laying the groundwork for the new Greater Ho Chi Minh City to become an attractive destination for international exhibitions and events. BEXCO also emphasized that this is a strategic opportunity to foster innovation, advance the MICE industry, and build a world-class exhibition and convention ecosystem.
The signing event marks a significant step forward, highlighting Becamex’s pioneering role in positioning Vietnam as an appealing destination for international exhibitions, conventions, and events.
