ITCPE – VIETNAM TEXPRINT 2025 OFFICIALLY OPENS AT WTC EXPO

20.08.2025

On August 20, 2025, ITCPE – Vietnam Texprint 2025 officially opened at the WTC Expo, Ho Chi Minh City. Jointly organized by domestic and international partners, the event aims to showcase modern technologies while promoting stronger networking and cooperation in Vietnam’s textile, garment, and printing-embroidery industries at both national and international levels.

This year’s exhibition features 200 booths representing enterprises from Vietnam and abroad, presenting 10 groups of outstanding products and technological solutions in textile and embroidery printing. These include apparel printing technology, dyeing and finishing systems, printing materials and auxiliaries, intelligent sewing and embroidery equipment, chemicals and additives, and diverse printing substrates. Particularly noteworthy are the demonstrations of next-generation digital printing and embroidery solutions, which are attracting strong attention from businesses seeking to enhance design quality, increase aesthetic value, and shorten production cycles. The exhibition also introduces printing technologies applicable to wood, ceramics, and other materials, extending printing and embroidery applications into fields such as interior design, gifts, decoration, and the broader creative industries.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), in the context of deep international integration, the industry must strengthen the application of modern technology, digital transformation, and sustainable development. Within this value chain, printing and embroidery technology—especially digital printing—plays a crucial role in enhancing creativity, fashion design, and product diversity, enabling Vietnamese products to meet the increasingly sophisticated demands of global markets.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ha Van Ut, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized that the exhibition is not only a platform for showcasing advanced technologies and materials but also a forum for international business cooperation, supporting the sustainable growth of Vietnam’s textile and fashion industries. He noted that in the first half of 2025, Vietnam’s textile and garment exports reached approximately USD 20.5 billion, up more than 7% compared to the same period last year, keeping Vietnam among the world’s top three textile and garment exporters. In Ho Chi Minh City alone, the sector accounts for over 30% of the city’s total export value, serving as a hub for design, production, logistics, and commerce, and housing major enterprises, skilled workforce training centers, and a diverse ecosystem of support services.

In the context of Vietnam’s active participation in new-generation Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Mr. Ha Van Ut stressed that green transformation, value-added production, and the adoption of advanced technologies are now mandatory requirements. International standards on environment, origin, and labor are becoming technical barriers that Vietnamese enterprises must quickly adapt to in order to maintain competitiveness. To achieve sustainable growth, the textile and garment sector must focus on key priorities: technological innovation, increased automation and digital transformation, higher productivity and quality, and comprehensive green practices including recycled materials and emission reduction throughout the supply chain. Additionally, investment in human resource development—particularly in design, technical fields, and supply chain management—will be essential. Strengthening supporting industries and building regional textile clusters in Ho Chi Minh City and its surrounding areas will enhance material autonomy, while global branding, international marketing, and fashion design capabilities will help Vietnamese products move beyond the image of simple manufacturing toward becoming recognized national brands.

“We are committed to continuing to accompany businesses, creating the most favorable conditions for the textile and garment sector to grow strongly, integrate deeply into global value chains, and reach new heights,” affirmed Mr. Ha Van Ut.

With its diverse product displays, advanced technologies, and clear strategic objectives, ITCPE – Vietnam Texprint 2025 is not only an important trade promotion event but also a driving force for innovation, contributing to elevating Vietnam’s textile and garment industry on the global industrial map.
